It is tha asana that resembles the posture of Kurma (tortoise).
i. Sit in Bajrasana extending hands straight, facing the palm above.
ii. Close the fist keeping the thumb inside the fingers.
iii. Bend the hands in elbow, putting the each elbow on respective side of Navel.
iv. Bend forward with resting the chin over the palms and the eyes looking at the tip of the nose or ahead.
i. It is useful in piles and fistula-in-ano.
ii. It is also indicated in diabetes.
iii. It strengthens the abdominal viscera.
