Mayurasana

 

Procedure:
a. Lie prone position on the ground.
b. Bend the elbow with palm fixed on the ground.
c. Allow the flexed elbow pressed the palm of hand on ground facing backward.
d. This flexed elbow is placed inward on the flanks of abdomen.
e. Slowly raise the legs from ground so that whole so that whole body depends on elbow.
f. Now, make the body parallel to the ground.
g. Come back to sthiti after 15 seconds.

Benefits:
It neutralizes any types of toxin inside intestine. Engorgement blood in intestinal villi and helps in proper absorption of intestinal content. It helps to increased digestive power. It helps to cure diabetes in some extent. It is Agnidipak and helps to increase the Aagnimanda.
