Ayurveda Research and Development Society (ARDS) Nepal is a non profit making no governmental organization established by a group of Ayurvedic doctors with a view to broadening of horizons of Ayurveda. The foremost aim of this organization is to promote Ayurveda through extensive research, integrated approach to health and maximum utilization of available resources; and to contribute to the expansion and strengthening of evidence based on quality, safety and efficacy of Ayurvedic medicines for the further development of health care system in Nepal. The society is also dedicated to exploring Ayurveda and traditional healing practices all over Nepal and disseminating authoritative information related to health sector- particularly focusing preventive and curative aspects – to the public and professional through conferences, exhibitions, radio/ television programs, educational activities, printed publications etc.
