Hospital has been running since 1974 BS. It was named
Naradevi Ayurvedic Hospital after transferring it to Naradevi
in 1985. Now it is equipped with 100 beds. Due
to the growing scope of Ayurveda, number of visitor is
increasing to this hospital. Various lab equipments and
other facilities have been increased to meet the demand
of large no. of patients. Its
services are
1. Internal Medicine (Kayachikitsa) with related Panchakarma.
2. Surgery (shalye), ENT+eye (shalakya) and its
Ksharasutra.
3. Gynecology ( Stri Roga) and obstetrics (Prashuti Roga).
4. Pediatrics (Baal Roga).
5. Acupuncture
6. Pathology lab, x-ray, USG and ECG etc.
7. Own pharmacy. (Free distribution of some drug).
Now the outpatient department of this hospital is running
jointly with the help of lectures, professors and doctors
of Ayurveda campus and Ayurveda Hospital respectively.
BAMS students do their clinical practical and internship
in this hospital.
Recently, Naradevi Hospital has started to
run its own paying clinics. This facility is avail from
1.00 pm to 5.00 pm. One should pay Rs 100 as ticket fee to
get benefited with paying clinics. This service is limited
within 18 beds.
Following are the current statistical data of Naradevi
Ayurveda Hospital
In Fiscal year 2062/063
BS, overall one hundred thousands patients visited to
hospital with the major complications like Hepatitis, Acid
pepsin disorder, Gout and different gynecological
disorders. Among them, about 60% patients were new
visitors. More than one thousands were admitted and had
about sixteen thousand days live in this hospital.
Numbers of patients having Vata-Vyadi were at the top
level, almost 12 % of whole visitors. Similarly 12,213
patients were found to be suffered from Hepatitis.

The large number of new visitors to this hospital
indicates that people are realizing the importance of
Ayurveda medicine. People are being educated about their
health, the medicine they use and the therapy they flow.
It seems that Ayurveda medicine is more preferable than
the others.

The concept of using
Ayurveda medicine only in chronic diseases is being
changed. There were lots of patients who visited in
different units in 2060/061. About 70000 patients visited
O.P.D. in year 060/061. Among them the highest number of
patients (13105) belongs to Vata disorders. Similarly in
Gastrointestinal
disorder = 9468
Hepatitis = 4496
Gynecological disorders = 6136
Acupuncture = 7700
Pediatrics = 5149
Patients having
respiratory, cardiovascular and urinary problems are also
at high rank in OPD patients list.

As Ayurveda is more
preferable on gynaecological treatment than the others,
there is a sharp-rise in female OPD patients.

The number of admitted patient is high
at rainy season due to the various water-borne diseases
like hepatitis.
