Ayur Expo 2007  
The Nepal Ayurveda Medical Students Society (NAMSS) organized the exhibition Ayurveda, Yoga, Medicinal Plants & Naturopathy to make rapid strides with the name of "Ayur Expo 2007" on August 24th to 26th, 2007 at the premises of Ayurveda Campus, Kirtipur. The event was sponsored by Baidyanath Ayurveda Bhawan Ltd. and co-sponsored by Dabur Nepal Pvt. Ltd., Singhadurbar Vaidyakhana Vikas Samiti & The Himalaya Drug Company, with official media Nepal Fm and web media Ayurnepal.com. More than 15,000 peoples visited the exhibition.

Special Features of the exhibition was Free Health Camp and medicine Distribution, Free Yoga Camp, Video Documentries show & Paper presentation, Herbarium Display, Classical Ayurveda Text Book Display, Herbal Products Display, Public Awareness Programme, Health Tips, Beauty Tips, Panchakarma Therapy and many other exciting features.

The programme was inaugurated by Education & Sports Minister Mr. Pradeep Nepal. During the opening ceremony of the exhibition farewell programme for BAMS intern docotor (6th Batch) was also organized.

In the second day, more then 600 patients took benefit in the Free health camp and Medicine Distribution. Nepal's Ayurveda Specialist Docotrs had provided the health services to the patients.

Free yoga camp was organized for three days during the expo, more than 400 peoples were participated in the free camp.

5th National Conference of ADAN 
The fifth National Conference of Ayurveda Doctors' Association of Nepal (ADAN) was held in Kathmandu, Nepal on 9 & 10 June, 2007. The conference was inaugurated by the chief guest Minister of Health & Population- Giri Raj Mani Pokharel.

The two-day conference brought together all the Ayurveda doctors throughout Nepal and elected 11-membered new executive body of ADAN in the presidency of Dr. Shyam Mani Adhiakari.

Inaugurating the conference, the chief guest Mr. Pokharel said: “The conference will make three-year concrete plan for the development & promotion of Ayurveda, research in medicinal plants and health service.”

At that moment, the chief guest launched the sovenir of ADAN (JADAN). He gave away the Ayurveda Research Award-2064 to Dr. Chandra Raj Sapkota, the founder President of ADAN and Associate Prof. of Ayurveda Campus, for his contribution in the promotion and research in Ayurveda. The award is given in every two year worth Rs. 10,000.

The conference was started with the main slogan: “Development and promotion of Ayurveda for the foundation of enriched Nepal”.

At the scientific session, two papers were presented. Dr. Rishi Ram Koirala presented a paper on “Good Clinical Practice” and Dr. Shyam Mani Adhikari presented a paper on “The Present Situation, Challenges and Prospects of Ayurveda in Nepal”.

The second-day close session elected the new executive body of ADAN. The newly elected body is as follows:
