Constipation:
The best way to deal with constipation is to change food
habits. Milk, boiled vegetables, fruits and their juices
should be taken in large quantities, together with foods
containing a lot of roughage and fibrous matter.
a) Take a lemon and remove its outer green layer letting
its white layer
b) Press it slightly and put it into a glass with half
water.
c) Let it be whole night.
d) In the morning, press all the lemon and filter it to
drink.
Or
Drink hot lemon in the morning and hot milk at night before
going to bed.
Or
Take Bethu/ Chaumsur ko Saag during season.
For vigour, strength and strong digestive
power.
Onion juice 2 tsp
Honey 2 tsp
Ginger juice 1 tsp
Ghee 2 tsp
Egg yolk 1 egg (optional).
Mix the above materials and warm it, add sugar (Mishri)
and take once in the morning for 15 days.
Fever/Headache/Body
ache
Neem (Marrango tree) leaves 5 leaves
Tulsi (Basil) 10 leaves
Lemon grass 5 leaves
Black pepper 10-15 pieces
Mix all, boil and strain, add sugar to taste. Take half
cup 3 times a day.
Note: if Fever/Headache/Body ache is with cough, you can
add ginger, honey, white pepper, garlic and onion.
High blood pressure:
Garlic 5 cloves
Tulsi (ocimus sanctum) 5 leaves
Honey 4 tsps
Make a paste of above ingredients and eat it once in the
morning without taking anything.
Eat two bananas daily to balance excess sodium in the
body. Banana contains enough potassium to cut all effects
of sodium.
Stomach upsets
Tulsi 5 leaves
Adrak (ginger) few pieces
Black Pepper 10-15 pieces
Fennel seeds some
Black salt some
Boil these materials. Strain and drink 2/3 times (half
cup).
Kidneys:
Dry tulsi (Basil) seeds and grind them with an equal quantity
of sugar. One teaspoonful of this powder, taken every
morning, is good for the kidney.
Liver
To maintain liver in a good condition, eat a pineapple
dipped in honey, twice a day.
Tea:
Tea is a wonderful drink. Anti-oxidants which delay ageing
are found in it. But, nonetheless, it harms if we use
it inappropriate way. It should be avoided to be boiled
longer than 2-3 minutes. Otherwise, these important constitutes
are lost and other unwanted constituents are formed. The
worn tea is not good for health; it is only for addiction.
