We,
the people of Nepal, are in the constant touch with
the sentences ‘Ayurveda is a traditional medicine
of Nepal’. Ayurveda along being very popular
as it is not only a medical science but also the
“knowledge of Life” in its various dimensions;
it is quite reasonable to use the Ayurvedic medicine
to treat the different diseases as it is cheap,
locally available & without any side-effect.
Nepal, being known as kingdom of Ayurveda since
Vedic era, has considerable possibilities, due to
its geographical diversity, to be recognized throughout
the world through the development of Ayurveda.
Even though these all facts are true, this field
seems moving in tortoise motion.
Being the students of Ayurveda, we are in close
contact with its realities. After many discussions
and counseling, we came in a common point that what
the causes are and what we should do.
There is always a vast gap between
saying and doing of the people. The people who are
quite positive towards Ayurveda and also realize
that it is too much beneficial are doing just opposite
to what they should do.
There is lack of awareness and publicity among the
people about Ayurveda.
Similarly, there is lack of responsible, energetic
and well-visional person/ authorities on Ayurveda
field.
We thought that we, being the student of Ayurveda,
had the responsibilities to make glorious and
prosperous future of Ayurveda. So We decided to
launch a website; considering its motto as to
explore the potentials of Ayurveda, to flourish
the medicinal herbs of Nepal and to make Nepal recognize
as an Ayurveda Kingdom.
It is not an easy task to aim to make Ayurveda globalize
and develop. So we, Nirmal Gyanwali, Raja Ram Dhungana,
Yadav Gurung, Madan Koirala, Naresh K.C. and Janak
Aryal ourselves enclosed on a fist and launched
a website: www.ayurnepal.com.
We want to thank to our respected teachers and all others for their
great helps to launch this website.
We hope you all help us to get
our great motto.
Thank You
